Doesn't anyone know about PCs? Every application I open winds up too far to the right, so the right hand side of the application is off the screen. The left hand side is fine, but it seems somehow the applications have decided my screen has an extra inch on the right side.

Is there are corresponding gap on the left? If not, then its very likely you picked up a trojan. If there is a gap, then it sounds like your screen is off center and needs to be adjusted. If it can't be adjusted, then the monitor is defective and presumably is still under warrantee.

PCs usually are user friendly and therefore, rarely is there a mystery behind a malfunction nor a lot of reasons for the malfunction. Just go through it logically and eliminate one possible problem at a time.

If its a trojan, do a google on the problem......usually there are websites or blogs that can tell you how to fix it.
