re: I wish we could get a moderate 3'rd party to pull down his numbers in 2008, but I don't think it will happen. I think we are ripe for a third party. Not that I hold any illusions that it will evolve from this thread (but stranger things have happened). The Rep/Dems have a core that will always vote Rep/Dem, but I think there is a huge group in the middle that doesn't give a damn about the dogma or politics, they just want somebody to run the damn country for the people. Are they a majority? Maybe. John
