More than a coincidence, if you tinker around with the spiral, you'll find that price patterns seem to stay within the spiral patterns from market top to market bottom for each trading cycle, both forwards and backwards... I noticed this phenomenon some time ago and this is what convinced me that this spiral pattern can be used for market timing... if you keep moving the spiral around among different chart patterns, you'll find some remarkable coincidences... but I think more than coincidence...IMHO
