It will be tough because we have to abide by the American States Organization Rio Treaty which states: All disputes on the Western hemisphere should be resolved by diplomacy. We will not resort to arms to solve them. If one foreign invade one country, we consider all off us invaded and gang together against whoever comes.

UK, resorted to arms against Argentina, Argentina was left alone to deal with the Brits because it had broken International law. We could get access to the Pacific, but we would need a good harbour, that side –Bolivia looking west doesn’t seen to have a good one. We need to download the whole stuff to be shipped to India on that side of the Pacific.

We could split the whole thing between: Brazil, Chile and Argentina. Negotiate a deal with the local stakeholders on how they split the moolah originated from the gas purchases. The US supports the deal and we overthrow Chavez. With the gas money, we would invest in the country, which means we could start trading with them and improving the peoples’ lives.

With an additional benefit: We South Americans are tired of playing a World Cup qualifier on 3.000m (9.000ft) above sea level. Bolivia gone, there will be no need to go to Sta. Cruz de La Sierra to play a game at that height.

The tick is to say: Bolivia is being seen as destabilizing force within the Western Hemisphere and such… The diplomats could cook the whole thing and still leave Rio's Treaty intact which has served the western hemisphere well…
