<What the white Europeans did to the Indians in the Americas, was indeed a crime,> No it wasn't. When a lion eats a gazelle, it's not a crime. When a Maori ate a Maori, it wasn't a crime. When the USA nuked Hiroshima, it wasn't a crime. A crime implies a law which was broken. When there's no law, there's no crime. That's the problem with the modern world on an international basis = there's no law and therefore no crime. The USA can do anything it likes, because there is no "international law" to which they are accountable. You like it like that. Which means you like the old way of doing things - really just because the USA is, temporarily, on top. Ironically, when on top is the best time to establish international law, but while on top, the savage beast which likes to tar and feather those with whom it disgrees is not inclined to create ethical boundaries to their hideous behaviour. The USA likes a dog eat dog world, so, when the USA gets bitten, they should not whine too much, just bite and snarl too. Personally, I think a dog eat dog world is fit for animals, not humans, but most people like the dog eat dog style, so that's exactly what they get. Strangely, when it's their turn to fly into the Twin Towers, or be bombed while on holiday, or be poisoned, or maybe even nuked by an opium-wrapped smuggled bomb hidden in a container, they get all weird and think it's not so nice. And why add the "white" to Europeans? You mean the Europeans who weren't white were somehow nicer to the local yokels? Or are you just making a general racist statement? Mqurice
