By calling out the two organizations with capital letters, and inserting an "and", should be enough to the normal reader to realize that they are different organizations.

If I meant to imply they were lumped together, I would have said "The Boy and Girl Scouts are...."

"The Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts are heavily into "God, Home and Country" knowledge and responsibilities."
