California is great. they have one of the largest work compensation money pools and THE LOWEST workers comp fee schedules. I say get rid of the whole system. A bunch of volunteers could do a better more cost effective more compassionate job. Govt Scwarzeneger even takes money from Noe of Ohio. there is a big article on Andrea Hoch (administrative director of work comp) in the Sacramento Bee Today (appointed by gov Schwarzeneger). And the thing that strikes me about it. Is her stating. "What i'm doing is within the law." And that kind of makes me sit and scratch my head. Like why would she have to say that.
