You lose or don't protect your flag, you might lose the battle and your cause.

Think about what you just wrote. Look at the power you're giving to the well being of a piece of cloth if you can get so disheartened by the loss of your flag that you lose the battle. Sure, the flag symbol can work for rallying the troops, but it can work to dishearten them, too. Wouldn't it be better to depend in battle on your weapons, your smarts, and your courage and just leave the flag out of it? You make the flag into a wild card on the battlefield. Wise strategists try to eliminate wild cards, not introduce them. And they sure don't rely on the equivalent of a rabbit's foot.

You lose or don't protect your flag, you might lose the battle and your cause.

Last I checked, hate speech wasn't against the law unless it is a threat or incites some crime. I'll leave it to the lawyers to parse that one.
