Public broadcasting ia non political, dumbass. But now the rightwing wants to MAKE it political. They want to turn it into state-sponsored propaganda a la Saddam Hussein or the Soviet Union. This is disgraceful. There is absolutely no truth to the rightwing charge that our networks are "too liberal". In fact the only biased network is Fox which is biased toward the rightwing. This is WAR ON TRUTH and ACCOUNTABILTY, people. This is a direct attack on our American system of free press, truthful debate and democracy. Damn these Bushies to limbo in 2006.
