I do agree with your view. I disagreed with what UW said. As long as you're not conflating risk to the Constitution with risk to our way of life, we are in agreement. Otherwise we're not. That is not parsing of words. They are different concepts and different entities.

For example, you car may derive from the minds and factories of Ford. If your car is endangered by a runaway semi on the freeway, the risk is to your car, not to Ford. Likewise, the risk from terrorists is loss of life and property and to our sense of security. Terrorists can't harm our Constitution.
