Hey bub, if you want a REAL crime, look at Bush-Enron's phony energy crisis in 2000. This was run by Enron and all the other Texas energy buds of Bush-Cheney with the full compliance of the Bush-Cheney GOP machine. Proof is that soon-to-be promoted Ed Gillespie was hired by Enron and the GOP at the same time to do the same job, spend 7 million bucks on totally dishonest TV ads blaming the energy gouging on the victims, especially Grey Davis, who we now know was blind-sided, stabbed in the back and conned by Enron and others, and had nothing to do with the fraud. Like the robebrs blaming the bank president for the armed robbery. BTW: This gouging has never stopped since except for the short time the Dems controlled the senate. As soon as Jeffords switched parties the energy prices plummeted and there was a sudden glut.
