I remember when I was in Boot Camp we had a 26 year old as our oldest recruit in my platoon. We called him DAD. (gg) Today, I call him Son. haha. He also had the BIGGEST FEET I ever saw, two or three sizes larger then the LARGEST the corp had. So they had boots SPECIALLY MADE for him, but for several weeks he suffered dreadfully. The trouble with drafting people of that age is it really screws up their careers. I think it better to start 18-19 year olds who can then go on to college. jdn

That's too young. I enlisted when I was 23. Most of the younger recruits in bootcamp didn't even know what was going on.
