"Dean is the gift that keeps on giving. Let’s hear some more, Chairman!"

“FOXX Propaganda”

By Aaron on Default
Say Anything

VP Dick Cheney commented recently that Dean’s rhetoric was “over the top.”

Here is how Dean responded:

<<<

ABC - “My view is FOX News is a propaganda outlet for the Republican Party and I don’t comment on FOX News,” Dean said. That was in response to vice president Dick Cheney calling Howard Dean “over the top” on Fox News on Sunday.
>>>

So, Dean dismisses the comment entirely because of the venue
from which it originated? That’s kind of childish, no?

<<<

“I have nothing to say to Howard Dean,” said Vice President Dick Cheney on Fox News. “I consider the New York Times an extension of the Democrat party and I will not comment about anything to do with the New York Times.” This came in response to Dean’s comment last week about Dick Cheney being a “grumpy old man.”
>>>

Obviously, the second quote is made up.

But it’s illustrating absurdity with absurdity.
You’d have people all over lambasting the VP for not paying attention to the NYT just like people got all over Bush for saying he doesn’t generally pay attention to the MSM (and why should he, he’s got a lot more informed people around him every day).

Dean is the gift that keeps on giving. Let’s hear some more, Chairman!

UPDATE: I guess I should have explained my title. “Foxx Propaganda” is how Daily Kos lists Fox News on their “Sunday Talk” roundup every week…
