The religious right wanted to kill US judges during the Schiavo case. The "prayer" meeting afterward, which included a call in of support from Tom Delay, prayed for death to (conservative) US judges who refused to obey this militant minority. Furthur, Eric Randolph was from an extreme rightwing church, so was Koresh and his followe McVeigh. These people are oppressive, power-hungry, irrational and sometimes violent. They are not to be taken lightly. They are already yapping at the gates of our democracy and freedoms trying to get in and take over. And they do not have Christian love in their hearts, not at all. Just the opposite in many cases.

Yeah, it is. We won't fill stadiums for stoning deaths if the religious right takes over. We don't kill adulterers or look the other way when the women are killed for "honor." We respect and empower our women folks and encourage them to succeed, we do not encourage them to stay covered up and require head coverings. We respect others and are tolerant of all religions. Even satan worshippers and Wiccans. ======== Baloney. - Remember lynchings? Congress is sheepishly apologizing for lynchings today. That's beating people and hanging them for being black. - Two Afghan prisoners were hung and beaten to death. That's THIS MILITARY. - The AF Academy assaults its women cadets and then punishes them for reporting rape. The AF Academy punishes Jews for being 'christ killers' and nonevangelicals for being 'heathens.' - McVeigh and Nichols bombed a building they knew contained a children's daycare center. - Remember Gitmo and the two children who were incarcerated there? - Remember Abu Ghraib? - Remember the Salem Witch Trials? - How many on death row are innocent? How many get released because of DNA? - How many rightwingers on this thread along wanted Bush to nuke the 300,000 citizens of Fallujah as 'retribution' for those mercenaries? - Remember the young gay man beaten and left to die on a fence? - Remember the old black guy dragged by a truck until he was beheaded? ============Baloney. Individual Americans and Americans in mobs can be just as barbaric as anyone else.
