Brian, you clearly miss my point about the rule of law.

Two wrongs do not make a right. The US is not the world's policeman. There is a proper process to be followed which was not followed. The reason the US went into Iraq was not because of Saddam's bad record of killing his own people but because of WMDs which were said to be available to strike Western targets at any instant. As you know, this was then shown to be hogwash and no WMDs were found.

The story of how bad a guy Saddam was was then used as a justification for what was a completely illegal attack by the US on a country which had no means of attacking it. That is one of the reasons why I said a few days ago that the US had taken over where the Nazis left off. The other reasons I already gave.

So the US should follow Saddam's example? I guess that's Jr.s rationale for it.

You'll believe just about anything, won't you, as long as the spin fits your ignorance and prejudices?

Do you know where Saddam got his chemical weapons to use on the Kurd uprisings? You got it, the good old USA, with US technical advisors on hand as every shot was fired to observe the results.

Do you know why Saddam "killed his own people" and had so many "political prisoners" to deal with? It's because the CIA was constantly running black ops in Iraq to stir up dissident groups to over throw the country.

As far as anything with the source labeled as a "Pentagon report" is concerned, at this stage of the game even a half wit should realize "Pentagon report" is synonymous with "bald faced lie".

And just who exactly was it that backed Saddam as President 100%, and considered him their fair haired boy throughout most of his reign? A picture's worth a thousand words:
