Thomas --- unlike Scalia --- actually *does* seem to be acting like a strict constructionist. Looks like the only strict constructionists there are Thomas, O'Conner, & Reinquist

No kidding! (Their goal seemed to be to promote the most massively intrusive and powerful central government imaginable. Last week we learned that Scalia is with them on this.)

"Maybe we will finally decriminalize pot as a result of this ruling."

Unlikely that this ruling will give much impetus to that --- the feds & Congress even break into a sweat when it is proposed to reclassify marijuana out of "schedule I" (heroin, methamphetamine... the most potentially destructive drugs known), and down to a more appropriate risk rating... just as Great Britain did last year.
