There is no record of past Martian temperatures. Global warming is a long term phenomenon. Did we have a weather station there the past few hundred years that I am not aware of?

The sun surely does have an effect on our climate, but other than the 11 year temperature variation concurrent with the sun spot cycle, the average measured solar irradiance has been slightly down over the last 60 years. During that time CO2 levels have risen sharply, and are a much better fit for the measured warming.
