What liberal press? You mean the "liberal" press which has gave Bush a free pass on the Florida and Ohio election cheating, the WMD's stories, Enron, Halliburton, Blair memo, Gannongate, PlameGate, deficits and pandering to the extreme religious right? The "liberal" press which gave those 100% lying smearvets equal time as people telling the truth? I notice the headline in the supposedly "liberal" LA Times today is exposing a Democratic lawmaker for a scandal. When has any conservative newspaper ever exposed a Bushie for anything? And don't even get me started about rightwing radio where they totally dominate. That means swing suburban commuter voters only hear rightwing propaganda on their radios. The bogus claim of "liberal media" by the right is simply an attack on the truth. They don't want our press to be courageous and don't want any papers or networks to hold them accountable for their many sins.
