"You and Bill were not anywhere near actually making the effort to support your allegations." My issue all along was your argumentum ad ignorantiam and other "cute" rhetorical maneuvering. I made no "allegations", but rather argued only that Bill had presented evidence in support of his while you did nothing but repeatedly yap "is not! prove it!" And BTW, it doesn't surprise me at all that Zarqawi's band (if you look back at my early posts in this discussion, I was focused on Zarqawi's band) appears to be mostly non-Iraqi while the Baathist remnants may be mostly Iraqi. The next question is, among those actually actively attacking US and Iraqi forces or civilians, who has the greater numbers - the jihadists or the Baathists? We already know that those attacking civilians, the suicide bombers, appear to be the former - and foreign.
