Important issues should be addressed by legislators and the administration.

Dean is not a legislator. He is the party chairman, which is mainly a partisan fundraising position. I wouldn't chastise him for doing a little name calling. Dean does address issues too, but it seems he gets more press with what you refer to as name calling. If you define name calling as saying someone is a white christian. Or that rich people didn't have to work hard for thier inherited wealth. Taking offense to that is being crazy over sensitive. Republicans and this administration are good at that though. Taking something relatively unimportant someone said and demonize the bejesus out of them, while they prosecute an illegal war and try to stack the judicial bench with extremists.

Maybe Dean should just tell someone to "___ off" like the VP did.
