Hey, I am not standing up for Jackson, I dont even like his music. BUT, the jury was all white, save for one black alternate, so racism didnt get him off. The jury had several mothers on it, so apparently they were convinced that the charge couldnt be proven beyond a reasonable doubt. The judge did everything but INSTRUCT THE JURY TO FIND HIM GUILTY and that didnt work. The state PASSED A LAW just for jackson allowing previous acts in the case. The DA had 100 search warrants on his house and tore it apart. After all this and 140 witnesses they still couldnt get a conviction. I have to believe he was aquitted for a reason. Anyhow, even now being acquitted he has paid a severe price for his hijinx's (whether they be sexual or not). He is hurting financially, his health looks like shit, and his reputation is MUD. So, they got their pound of flesh regardless. What didnt seem to come out in the trial is all the GOOD things Jackson has done for MANY CHILDREN. Even the media apparently doesnt mention that. jdn
