Jesus resisted all trappings of wealth and authority for himself and his disciples because he felt they would hinder the spreading of his message, not because having or wanting worldly things was itself wrong. It's a balancing act, and no one is perfect. imho, you can "have and want" without "loving" or "serving." Obviously, serving money as a master is wrong (Matt 6:24), as was the case with the Pharisees (Lk 16:14). 1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil... But if you gave it all away, you'd starve. So how much charity is enough? Jesus praises the rich man Zacchaeus in Luke 19 for giving half of his wealth to the poor. imo, if he was so rich, giving away half would not be an insurmountable hardship. But those who call themselves Christians and still behave that way are all hypocrites, right? Everybody's got problems; we are all lowly imperfect humans.

Those who are Christians aren't perfect, they are merely forgiven- if I understand the religion correctly. I am not interested in judging them, since I am not part of their religion, nor am I really interested in judging people who aren't doing me any harm. So you are not right, and I don't want to play any games about what you think about what I think. OK? I'm not interested at all. If you want to fight with people I am sure you can find some people who want to fight back, but I am not interested. Thanks in advance.
