Did you see this? We have until July 8th to get the papers signed and back....UNLESS Gregoire and the Dems once again tie the hands of the people in the state. soundpolitics.com In the meantime, it appears that the state government is already trying to sell bonds committed to the gas tax as early as July 1. What a bunch of sleazy jerks. Once bonds are sold that are contractually bound to the tax revenues, it will be nearly impossible to overturn the tax, an effective end-run around the credibile initiative that is underway to overturn the tax.
