Every single smearvet claim has been proven a lie. Larry Thurlow, for instance, one of the few who ever served even NEAR John Kerry, lied that when Kerry rescued Jim Rassman (a lifelong Republican former Green Beret) they were not taking enemy fire. Now Thurlow, who admits getting a house from the smearvets funder Perry, a major home-builder in Houston, not only contradicted Rassman (who knew damn well he was getting shot at) but also contracted every man on Kerry's boat PLUS his own battle rport which resulted in Thurlow himself winning his Bronze Star. So we are expected to believe Thurlow lied to get a Bronze Star and also get Kerry a Bronze Star? Also, Thurlow claims Kerry 'ran away", but how could he run away and also save Rassman's life? If he had run away he wouldn't have been there. Only a diehard Bushie would believe this BS tale, and clearly, Thurlow was also paid off to lie by Perry Homes, which we now know is connected to the Tom DElay Foundation.
