ThinkEquity cautious on ValuClick here

I would call it ThinkEquity wasting your time here.

While we feel the acquisitions are incrementally positive in the near term, as they should be strongly accretive and bolster/complement VCLKs direct marketing and e-commerce businesses,

It seems they are saying that over the near term the stock should appreciate as a result of the acquisitions....

We are maintaining our Accumulate rating and 12-month price target of $13.

$13 is more than 20% above the current stock price.

Analysts are often a waste of time, especially the 2nd tier ones that cover the 2nd tier internet stocks (like VCLK). No reason to believe her/his opinion is better than mine, at least from that cut and paste.

Internet advertising is growing around 30% per year, and VCKL is a pure play internet advertising stock trading around 20x. Do I need to do more analysis?
