2000: The Fix was in. Steal Florida. Phony energy crisis. Play nice then go after Iraq for the oil-fields and re-election. Conspire to spike world energy prices. DEregulate environmental protection. Use rightwing propaganda machine to fight free press and flow of information. Smear any opponents mercilessly, including three Silver Star winners in a row. A few things went wrong. Enron went bankrupt. But the Bush connection there was largely covered up. Their Saudi buddies' kin attacked us. But 9-11 was used as an excuse to clamp down on freedom of information, spike energy prices even more, helping them consolidate even more power. It all worked out, except for one thing, they had to lie, cheat, steal and conspire to get the dirty deeds done. Now it's up to We The People with the help of what's left of our free press to take these bastards down.
