June 14, 2005--Guardian Technologies International, Inc. (OTCBB:GDTI - News), a leading technology developer of intelligent imaging informatics (3i) solutions, announced today that, as part of the exclusive distribution agreement executed with EGC International Corp. ("EGC") dated March 30, 2005, EGC has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") with Eprotel C.A., dated June 8, 2005, to install a pilot system of GDTI's automatic threat detection software, PinPoint, at the Simon Bolivar Caracas International Airport, Venezuela. Eprotel C.A. provides systems integration for security at the Simon Bolivar Caracas International Airport. Under the terms of the MOU, the pilot project will commence within fifteen (15) days of receipt of the export license from the U.S. Department of Commerce and upon delivery of a detailed pilot project testing plan. Upon the successful completion of the pilot project and final acceptance of the test results by the customer, the MOU will convert within forty-five (45) days to a contract with the Venezuelan Government.
