Maurice - " fantasy world ?" That's maybe a bit far...Ray usually discusses major events that have political and economic consequences, not breakfast cereal and the price of sugar.

I happen to think that Stupidity, greed, and pride explain most events, but that doesn't mean that conspiracies of various types don't exist.

And the line between ordinary political and economic activity and covert conspriracy is wide and gray.

I also think conspiracies don't always work, have unintended consequences, and can be derailed by oridinary events, greed and stupidity.
