Stratex Networks Receives $7 Million in Additional Eclipse(TM) Orders From TM International (Bangladesh) Limited

The Leading Mobile Service Provider in Bangladesh Uses Eclipse Nodal Transmission System for its Backbone and Access Radio Transmission Network

SAN JOSE, Calif., June 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Stratex Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: STXN - News), a leading provider of wireless transmission solutions, announced that it has recently received $7 million of additional orders from TM International (Bangladesh) Limited ("TMIB") to supply the Eclipse range of transmission equipment and services for its GSM network Aktel(TM). Stratex Networks previously announced on May 26, 2005 that Aktel had started deploying Eclipse for capacity expansion of major backbone links and to enhance its presence and services throughout the country. Including the previously announced business, TMIB has now placed orders of over $17 million for various Eclipse products.




Shipments of the recently received additional orders are expected to commence in the second quarter of Stratex Networks' fiscal year 2006, which begins July 1, 2005.
