Of course you wouldn't. You can't see the forest because those trees block the view, on purpose. Do you think there should be a complete ban on birth control of all kinds? Do you think that a woman who is raped or a girl who is the victim of incest should be forced to bring a child to term? Do you think all children in public schools should be forced to study the bible as the literal word of God even if they're not Christian? Do you think that one religion's particular brand of creationism should be taught, at US Taxpayer expense, in all schools on a par with science? When one religion gains such power, it threatens all other religions. This, therefore, is the second major reason that there is a separation of church and state: the protection of individual religious beliefs. The first major reason of course is that no church has any business meddling in the secular affairs of government.
