I think about it it is a very apt analogy. You can accidentally disturb a bees nest and they will attack you. Many muslims feel that we have disturbed there nest. The fanatics think we do it on purpose, and in some cases we have acted poorly in the middle east.

You can't reason with bees. You can with people. Not all people. We should make the attempt to reason with the ones we can and those that can't, well if they resort to violence they will be killed.

I think that we are not doing as good a job at reasoning with them as we could. Because of that we create an environment that foster the creation of people that hate us. With the poverty that exists in the middle east there are, apparently many people that can be inflamed with rhetoric into wearing explosives.

While not coddling these fanatics it is in our best interest to take steps to reduce there number. Everything we do there should be measured in this way.
