These things ARE happening in this administration. These are just what we know about. This is a very secretive administration so we do not know how deep it goes. - stemcell research funded by the US Gov't. Bush will veto any bill on this because of religion - Terri Schiavo. Bush even came back from vacation just in case he needed to sign a bill about this very private matter. This was pure strong-arming from the likes of Dobson. - Kill-fillibuster. Also a Dobson issue in order to stack the courts. Inappropriate as that may be it gets worse because, in practice, it only goes to Christian or Christian-involved organizations. That is why we have the US Constitution and laws that protect the minority from the bullying majority. - Christianity already threatens other religions. Not all of christianity or all christians but the extremists. There is already institutionalized harassment at the Air Force Academy where Jews are bullied as christ killers and nonevangelicals as heathens. - Think of it this way. What if it wasn't Christianity but Islam doing this? What if there was institutionalized Islam in the AF Academy and the Bush administration? What if children had to read about Mohammed instead of about Christmas? What would you say then?
