Perfect....I'm going to indulge myself today, and do something fun.....Then come home and do some chores around here and advance some dusting, so that I will be ready to have guests next week and show them some hospitality...<ggg>

I am back. Thanks for all the words while I was gone. Liked every one of them too.

Had a wonderful relaxing trip and enjoyed meeting everyone face to face. Had so much food to eat and I partook of it all except the asparagus. I helped cook the tacos one evening just to show them I still know how to cook. They all knew I do not cook any longer. We all ate cherries all day and we could even go out on the patio to the cherry tree and pick them and eat them immediately. It was safe as she does not use any sprays on it and had a hose to wash them off.

The flight home was good and did not have any long layovers as we did going, but a lot of passengers were sneezing and sure enough I woke up yesterday morning with the goop. Not feeling too well today, but took some cough medicine last night and did sleep well. I told my Cancer friend who was traveling with me we should have worn masks as the recycled air is full of germs on a plane. Just hope this does not last more than a few days, as I have so much to do at home. She still has Cancer and is on chemo pills and just hope I was the only one that got it.

They gave me a birthday party Friday night and had a large cake with yellow roses on it. I think after next year I will begin to think of having no birthdays. It really is h**l to get old and I don't like it one bit, but it is better than the alternative. If I can remain active in body and spirit I will not complain. Going for a colonoscopy in August, then to Cancer surgeon in September for a checkup, which will be my four year anniversary of being in remission. As all do, I will be anxious until that is over.

One thing I did while there was buy a Webcam, as the price was so reasonable. Our hostess had one and we had a lot of fun speaking to other members of our group. My grandson came over last night while we were at dinner and got it all hooked up for me. I am thinking it will be really useful for me to see others I have not met face to face yet. The only drawback will be that I will have to get up every morning and fix my hair and put makeup on. Surely don't want to scare any one to death....<gg> Will make me stay on my toes and be diligent about that, as I usually don't do that unless I am going out on errands or to dinner in the evening. Being motivated to change my habits has to be a good thing for me. If I get tired of it, I will just not sign in for video and audio. Being retired I can be sloppy if I want and no one here to see me during the day. That dress code of robe, gown and slippers will have to go with the Webcam.

Got to go unpack my bags as I did not feel like it yesterday so hope to be back later.
