Well, there was the lie about the cost of the prescription drug benefit, no semantics there, just $Billions of dollars. And didn't they just get caught cooking the scientific data on global warming?

PS If you google "Bush lies" you'll probably get a lot more examples, those are just off the top of my head.

Or maybe he would say what he was saying in interviews well before he was elected that a president that was also commander in chief after a successful war has political capital that he can use to pass desired legislation...
