Downing Street Minutes Hearing Moved to US Capitol David Swanson Hmmm. You see, I took Ted's outrage at the US media ignoring the memo at face value. I guess even though the media is ignoring it, the government is holding a hearing? Fair enough. Sounds interesting. Any chance to get Bush impeached so Cheney can be President!?

The hearings had been planned for the Democratic National Committee offices because the Republicans controlling the House Judiciary Committee had refused to permit the ranking Democratic Member to use a large room on the Hill. Assuming the above is true, its a very stupid move on the part of the GOP. It shows their lack of commitment to democratic processes. With over a million signatures and counting, this could be a grass roots move of which you don't want to be on the wrong side. ted
