I know that I won't ever again vote for the party, but for the man. I started that policy when I voted for Kerry, which was the first time I've ever voted for a non-Republican.

I came to the same conclusion not long after I started voting. That's why I vote for both Dems and GOPers as well as third party candidates. I could never vote strictly party line.......it doesn't make sense when you are trying to get the best person for the job.
