"Is a European keyboard different?"

Depends on the keyboard. The German keyboard I am using right now has a 'Ü' key next to the 'P' in addition to the 'Y' and the 'Z' being swapped. The right hand alt key can access other symbols like the '€' and '@'.

Interesting: I saw my typo but was too lazy to correct it and thought nobody would notice...

I have no clue how I did it actually. Yes, the keyboards are quite different but so is the case between Swedish and German keyboards for several keys.
