However, it's hard to argue against a few extra mil in his PF

It is simply false to say if gold wins everyone else looses. Over the past year or so gold is up over $100 and the economy is growing. A recognition of gold value does not mean a collapse of other value. In a total collapse gold would be worthless as anarchy would reign.

A general prosperity can make everyone win. Being a believer in gold does not mean one has to hope for general ruin. That would be a sad commentary on ourselves. I reject it.
