re: Assuming there is money left to make all the SS payments. Thus, the proposal to boost SS revenue. We need to do something to provide a safety net for old folks; I assume you agree with that. Current and future retirees have contributed to SS all their lives, it was a deal. A social compact, regardless if you agree with the original concept from an ideological perspective. We made the deal, we have to honor it. It's a matter of figuring the best way to do it. John
