Kerry is extremely smart and tough on terrorism. He pays attention and works well with the world community. Terrorism is a global problem, a police, diplomatic and intel problem not so much a military or rightwing American problem. And occupying Iraq didn't help fight terrorism at all. On the contrary. It weakened our ability to respond to terrorism. As much as I detest Saddam, that's just true. You or I would have done something on 8-6 if warned like Bush was of impending Al Qaida hijackings. But Bush did nothing. Why not? Very big question. Maybe someday we'll get a straight answer. But I doubt it. Something very fishy going on with Bush and the Saudis.
