My letter to Senator Durbin: I thank God that the Democrats of the past weren't the Democrats we have today. We would have lost WWII and any other conflicts we may have encountered. Your disgraceful statements about our military and your support of the Muslim fanatics who caused many good citizens to decide that stepping out a 90 story window to concrete was their BEST option, shows just how disconnected and desperate today's "new" democrat party truly is. I'm from an Ohio depression era Democrat family, a former union member and a life-long registered Republican who has NEVER voted for those who advocate the destruction of our system and our way of life. I've educated my children beyond the cesspool of liberal indoctrination of public education and they too are registered Republicans. In my opinion Jack Kennedy was the last REAL American Democrat to hold the office of the President and who advocate "ask what you can do for your country". I'm sure he and other great, patriotic Democrats are spinning in their graves at the spectacle of shame their party has digressed to. This is NOT my father's party. durbin.senate.gov

For all you know, the "last throes" involve the greatest mobilization yet, after which, if unsuccessful (thanks to NOT listening to folks like you), things WILL calm down. Time passes and Iraq may indeed hold onto a government that can survive these assholes. I know this, you let the assholes take the reigns in Iraq, and another 911 gains far greater odds of happening.
