Mindmeld, that echoes what you and I are betting on here -

RE: "the company is benefiting from several long-term growth trends that are likely to support sustainable revenue growth in the 10% to 12% range."

I had growth pegged at 15% when you toss in 5% buybacks, though if they slow buybacks down (which your or John's post implied they will) then maybe 12% is a better estimate than mine. 12% is healthy. I think their advanced technologies will drive future growth and basically defy high oil prices.

RE: "advanced technologies are the most important growth drivers for Cisco explaining, "we believe the advanced technology groups are gaining momentum, likely to deliver mid-20% growth, or 39% of total, over the next few years," and added, "also, we see significant pull-through by VoIP and wireless LAN, which we estimate drives 11% of current sales growth."

Aren't VoIP and wireless also part of advanced technology?

Amy J
