A friend of mine had a boy in high school and the kid asked him a question about doing square roots on a calculator that they studied that day. Friend, being a good parent, showed his son and then showed the lad how to do them with pencil and paper. Son did a square root with pencil and paper in class. Friend got called into the principal's office and was told if he taught his son anything the class didn't cover, the son would be expelled.

Amazing. Simply amazing.

Wonder if they extend that to sex education.

It's my (our) way or the highway.

Now, put that condom on the cucumber and STFU.

Funny story, but as likely true as your high school having four assistants for every teacher. As for the actions of the school board, why is that the teachers' fault? Sounds to me like you've got a f'd up bunch of politicans 'round thar.
