I remember back in the early 80's "smart" people were forecasting $100/barrel for oil. It never made $100, but did make about TEN dollars a barrel at one point. Personally, I think we'll see another crash before $100, but that's just a gut feeling based on experience rather than a scientific or economic analysis on my part.
