Clinton was impeached for lying under oath, not anything treasonous or remotely associated with official acts of office ... something that really lowers the bar for impeachment. The original idea was impeachment was for illegal official acts or horrible crimes. Of course impeachment is really a political act (not a legal action) and it depends on the makeup of Congress. So lets get a Democratic congress in '06 and maybe we can impeach Bush!
