That's a valid point, Dave. I'm very happy these days to pull 2% from a trade. We can all remember when 5-10% was a real possibility on a short term trade, but those are very rare in this market.

I typically trade 500 shares and pay the $5 commission each way in trading with IB. Affordable, IMO.

NQ trades are more expensive, but, for the most part, I can realize far better percentage gains with 'em. Trade 10 contracts, usually. Comms there are $24 each way.
