To my way of thinking, when the American people want to impeach a loser, they'll FIND a way. Bush's approval is now lower than when they were impeaching Clinton. The congresspeople who want to survive will go along. We just need to keep making the case as things continue to go south for Dumbya.

Arguable. The cases to this point, and the opinion of many legal and constitutional scholars, is that impeachment requires a crime. That's what "high crimes and misdemeanors" is about. You can't throw out a President just because you don't like him. In the case of Clinton, even a proven criminal act was not sufficient because it involved his private, not his public, life.

Impeachment is not a popularity contest. The popularity contest occurs at the election. Maybe federal recall needs to ne added to the Constitution. But you won't get Bush under it because of the time needed to approve an amendment.

As to the rest: I think Iraq was a bad mistake. BUT there is the other side: what if SH had exploded a dirty bomb in NY harbor in an old leaky tanker and and caused several million deaths. You'd clearly have cause for war. And several million dead Americans.
