Do you ever read David Brooks' columns? He is conservative, but I think he is very intelligent. There are a few other conservative thinkers I find interesting, including even Newt Gingrich, even though I think as a man he is really horrible, telling his wife he wanted a divorce when she was in the hospital recovering from breast cancer surgery. Occasionally Bill O'Reilly has an interesting position, but he is more of a libertarian than a conservative, anyway.

I think what happens at SI is that everyone gets backed into a particular corner and cannot admit they are wrong, or their candidate is wrong, and they become defensive and closed, and everything gets really polarized. I think that is really a shame. I don't think conservatives OR liberals have all the answers, and I think most people are a mixture of liberal and conservative positions, some more so than others, of course. I think Clinton and his presidency are mostly indefensible, even though I also believe the "When Clinton Lied, No One Died" bumper sticker is right on. And Kerry was a horribly weak candidate. I think the Democrats are suffering from a lack of strong leaders coming up through the ranks, and have horrible judgment about putting forth the presidential candidates they have recently.

I don't listen to the mainline TV news any more. I don't give a shit about Michael Jackson, runaway brides and Saddam in his underpants. When are they going to get the balls to start reporting on and digging into the Downing Street memo, and other important news? Why do I have to read about the proof of Bush's deception on Iraq in the British press?

LMAO!

Air America is on everyday pal. There you can go and listen to all your left leaning biased news you want! The only thing you posted you want to hear about is that which is negative for Bush. Real middle of the road stuff there, bud.
