I'm not interested in focusing on the welfare of animals; I'm interested in focusing on the national debt, the exit strategy for Iraq, our safety as a country, our health care system, and revamping drug laws, now that we are incarcerating a larger percentage of our population than most other nations. THOSE kinds of issues. I find that logical, and practical, and compassionate, since those issues affect a lot more people. Most families don't have brain dead relatives they want to keep on life support- so that is a smaller issue than, say, the exit strategy for Iraq. IMO, of course. It's not "the hell with sick humans"; I'm very concerned with sick humans. You have read my post and made it in to some fantasy of your own. Whoever you think you are responding to, it isn't me, and it isn't to what I wrote. It's too bad you had to post the way you did. We could probably have discussed the issues involved, but your post was so insulting I'm not interested in discussing anything now. Next time you have the urge to post to me, either take out the insulting stuff, or post to some other poster who likes that sort of thing, ok?
