today we are talking about someone in congress speaking undesirable/unpalateable words. is that not part of freedom of expression ? Dont like his words, dont vote for him... Doubt if any american on this thread opposes freedom of expression. However.....it is nice to have some truth included in the expression when it is coming from a United States Senator. I note that he waffled a little today. Before this is over, he will look Dan Rather.

No one cares what one says, AS LONG AS it is the truth, AND that it causes no one any harm. Because of Durbin and others like him, who continually rant, but have no proof, that cause our Military and others to be killed..... Never a good word about the good things the US does, but always whatever the perceived bad.... Just as a tiny for instance....Durbin said that "for one day, there was no air conditioning...." and a poor prisioner was just too hot. Well whoop-te-doo..... Did the Nazi's EVER have a day or even a minute of airconditioning for even a single one of their prisioners??????? Durbin made an analogy between the US and Nazis.... These prisioners are the worst of the worst. They are taken care of better than our own soldiers, for pete's sakes. Maybe Durbin would like to go down there for a week or two, and be a "live in" and see how he is treated..... Couldn't happen to a nicer person. < as CB said to do to indicate sarcasm......;^} .)
